Dean Anthony Caputo
Songwriter
I started writing as a teenager, as well as playing covers and
originals in garage bands getting local gigs. I started studying
real songwriting later on and then came AlyssaSongs Music. I
began pitching demos to publishers and A&R Reps in 1996
and gained some interest in Nashville. Some of my earlier
achievements were:

Author
I was published in a peer-reviewed professional journal, Police Quarterly,
in September 2008: "The South American Theft Groups: An Overview of
a Transnational Criminal Network and Strategies for Field Enforcement."
I have also published various other pieces, including a Street Guide for
police officers, for a non-profit, SATGIN, as well as a chapter in the book
Kettle Dreams (edited by Leslie Flowers).
Poet
My first published poem was in the National Anthology of American
Poetry, Millennium Edition, 1999, called "CoDa." I have another,
"Professor on a Perch" with Lulu Poetry (2009).

I am now collaborating with writers from around the world in
various genre. I have songs published in Nashville, Los
Angeles and in several international markets and am currently
focused primarily on production music using Logic, Tascam
144, Ludwig drums, Dean Evo, Yamaha acoustic, Oxygen 49
MIDI, Yamaha HS50s, and various mics.
